A Proud Tradition of Quality and Service
Maddock Machinery Corporation started in Tucson in 1974 at a small location on N. Stone Avenue near downtown. Our original staff of two served customers such as Mountain Bell and Pepsi, providing fleet service and aerial equipment repair.
The business has grown considerably since then, but the way we approach the work hasn’t changed. Listen to the customer. Understand what the truck needs to do. Find the right solution. Do the job right. Stand behind the work.
Those ideas go back to our founder, Bill Maddock, and they still guide the company today.

Built Around the Needs of Our Customers
As our customers’ needs grew, Maddock Machinery grew with them.
In the early 1990s, Bill Maddock expanded the business into fleet equipment upfitting, introducing Knapheide Manufacturing, Anthony Liftgates, and Liftmoore Cranes to the Tucson market.
Our equipment lines and capabilities have continued to grow. Today, Maddock Machinery builds and supports commercial and utility vehicles ranging from a simple toolbox installation to complex utility line trucks.
Whatever the build, the approach is the same. Put the right equipment on the truck, install it correctly, and make sure the customer has local support when they need it.

More Than 100 Years in Machinery
The Maddock family’s roots in the machinery business go back to Cleveland, Ohio in 1917. That experience was passed down through generations and eventually led to the founding of Maddock Machinery in Tucson.
